Graham Westley takes his new side to Victory Park on Tuesday for the annual Jack Kirkland Trophy fixture.
The North End boss will be looking for his side to further develop their understanding of each other and his plans following Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Southport at Haig Avenue.
The manager is expected to continue to look at a number of trialists as well as maximising the time on the pitch for his squad. John Welsh will definitely miss out after a bang on his ankle at weekend.
David Amoo, Chris Robertson and Bailey Wright all missed the game with slight injuries, whilst Thorsten Stuckmann watched from the stands to give the goalkeeping trialists an opportunity to show what they could do, but the big German is likely to get his first run out in this second game.
Two different sides performed at Southport, with the manager changing his entire team at half-time and the same is to be expected in this game, with the new faces mixed in amongst the trialists and those players already familiar to the North End faithful.
Lee Trundle, who played the second half at the weekend, could come up against his former Club if again involved in the manager’s plans on Tuesday night.
Fans can pay on the turnstiles with prices set at £9 for adults and £5 for concessions, which are over 65s and U16s.
A full match report will appear on PNE.Com on the final whistle and if you want the result and scorers texted to you, why not sign up for the official SMS service, just text CLUB PNE ON to 88442 now to receive the service. Highlights will be available on PNE Player later on in the week.
