A Preston North End fan in exile has kindly bought and donated tickets so that junior supporters can attend in his place.
The supporter, a long serving fan who now lives in Toronto donated four adult and four junior tickets for PNE’s final game of the 2016/17 season as a way of supporting the club and its fans despite living 3500 miles away from PR1.
In response to the fan’s generosity, the club has decided to match the donation so that eight adult and eight junior tickets will be given away on PNE Community and Education Trust's Twitter page (@pnecommunity) and Facebook page (@PNECET).
The supporter, who wants to remain anonymous is unable to attend games at Deepdale regularly so wants youngsters to attend the game instead.
The fan's first game at Deepdale was a 2-1 victory over Blackpool in 1958; since then the supporter has kept in touch with the club through PNEPlayerHD, PNE.Com and various Preston North End fans forums.
To enter the competition, all you need to do is post a photo of you and your junior PNE fan, on Facebook via this link here, or on Twitter by clicking here.
We'll then pick four winners from Twitter and four winners on Facebook at random to win an adult and junior ticket for the final game of the 2016/17 campaign at Deepdale.
