Senior Call Up For Browne

22 May 2017

Irish midfielder Alan Browne has been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad for their upcoming games in June.

Browne, who has represented the national side at youth level, has been called up for the first time to Martin O'Neill's squad.

The call up comes after a successful season for the 22-year-old, who made 35 appearances in all competitions as North End secured a top half finish in the Championship for a second consecutive year.

Browne joins up with PNE teammates Andy Boyle and Daryl Horgan with the national squad, and will be training with the team in Ireland this week ahead of their international friendlies against Mexico and Uruguay at the start of June.

The following week, the boys in green will be taking on Austria in Dublin in a World Cup qualifier on Sunday 11th June.

Congratulations to Alan on his first call up to the senior squad.
