Striker Eoin Doyle has joined Portsmouth on loan until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old joins up with former boss Paul Cook, who he enjoyed success with while at former club Chesterfield.
Pompey currently sit in the Play-Off places in League Two, with hopes of promotion this season.
Doyle has found game time hard to come by at Deepdale in recent months with strong competition up front in Simon Grayson's squad.
