Adam Reach Agrees Loan Deal

2 January 2016

Adam Reach will remain on loan at Deepdale for the rest of the season after Middlesbrough agreed to an extension of his stay in PR1.

The No.32’s current emergency loan spell of 93 days ended after the Lilywhites’ 2-1 home win over Rotherham United, where he had made 17 appearances, scoring twice, however, the his parent club agreed that he could join Simon Grayson’s team for the remainder of the season.

The 22-year-old left winger has also been given permission to play in the FA Cup and will be available for the third round clash with Peterborough United.

Speaking about keeping Reach in his ranks, manager Simon Grayson said: “It is fantastic from Middlesbrough to allow Adam to stay with us. He has done really well and it is a big coup for us.

“He played a lot of football for Middlesbrough last season and he is a good kid, who wants to learn and wants to stay here and play football.

“Other players might have gone back and wanted to be part of a potential promotion winning team, but I am delighted he wants to stay and I am sure that his overall vision will be for Middlesbrough to get promoted and for us to have a successful season as well.”
