Becks Remains Upbeat

24 November 2015

Despite his long spell on the sidelines, striker Jermaine Beckford is in good spirits as he continues his recovery.

After helping PNE make the push back to the Championship, the Wembley hat-trick hero has been out of action since August, but is feeling positive as he makes improvements every day with his rehabilitation.

Speaking exclusively to PNE PlayerHD, Jermaine said: "I'm as good as can be at the minute, I'm working hard and trying my hardest to get back and hopefully we get back in next to no time.

"It's moving very slowly, everyday I'm making improvements but they are minimal but it's happening, it really is, everyday is an improvement.

"I'm quite positive minded anyway, you never see me moping around or being down or anything like that.

"I just take everything as it comes and I just try and use everything as a new experience, and I'm trying to make it as positive as possible to keep upbeat about it.

"Being off the crutches, being able to move my knee in pretty much all of the positions that I was able to before my injury is a massive positive.

"I'm taking it all on the chin, and I'm just getting on with it."
