One of the positives from Monday’s result against Huddersfield Town was the valiant performance from lone striker Chris Beardsley.

The powerful 28-year-old made an impressive debut for the Lilywhites, with only a goal missing from his game.

However, Stevenage’s top goal scorer from last season will be looking to score his first in PNE colours this weekend against Colchester United, and we are backing him to do so.

PNEBetting.Com predicted Jack King would score the first goal against Huddersfield Town on Monday night, and our prediction was right.

So will we make it two in two? We think so, with Beardsley priced at 5/1 to score the first goal against the travelling U’s, and he is also priced at 11/8 to score at any time.

Another player keen to get off the mark at Deepdale will be former Southampton and Derby County winger Lee Holmes.

Holmes has shown early signs he will be a regular threat to right backs this season, has already come close on several occasions to scoring his first Preston goal.

PNEBetting.Com are offering odds of 12/1for Holmes to score the last goal or 65/1 to score the only goal in a 1-0 Preston win.

Below are a list of odds which may interest PNE supporters,
Jack King to score first 8/1
PNE to win 4-2, 66/1
Preston to win both halves, 9/4
Scott Laird to score first, 14/1
Paul Huntington to score last, 40/1
Jeffrey Monakana to score first in a 2-0 win, 100/1

Remember all bets you place with PNEBetting.Com will help your favourite Club Preston North End, so why go anywhere else?
