Preston North End youngsters Alex Nicholson and Nick Anderton have joined Chorley on loan until the end of the season.
The pair have today signed for the Magpies and will be available for their trip to Ilkeston on Saturday.
Nicholson arrived at Deepdale from Newcastle United in the summer, training with the Lilywhites before eventually signing a professional deal.
He has featured once for the first team this season, against Oldham Athletic in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
Anderton is a second year scholar in the Preston North End Academy, the second such player to head out on loan from the youth ranks following Jack Ryan’s loan switch to Stalybridge Celtic.
PNE have a recall clause after the initial 28 days of both loan deals.
