Jermaine Beckford Looking Forward To Building On Past Relationships

20 November 2014

Preston North End’s latest recruit Jermaine Beckford can’t wait to get down to work with team-mates and management he knows well from the past.

The on loan Bolton Wanderers man worked under Simon Grayson at Leeds United and Huddersfield Town, and counts the likes of Neil Kilkenny, Paul Huntington, Paul Gallagher, Tom Clarke and several others as former team-mates.

And Beckford is looking forward to rekindling the past as PNE aim for promotion to the Championship.

Speaking exclusively to PNE Player and PNE.Com, the new North End No.10 said: “I have worked with them (the management team) before and I know what they are about and what they are like and they know what I am like and hopefully we can continue the good relationship we’ve started over the last few years.

“In football, it is one of those professions were you meet lots of people all the time and play with different people and I have had the pleasure to work with quite a few of the boys and I am looking forward to working
with them all again.

“The boys have scored lots of goals this season and last season, and it is something I am hoping to help with and continue with.
