Midfielder John Welsh takes pride in togetherness and spirit of workmanlike Preston North End.
North End blasted Oldham Athletic away at Boundary Park by four goals to nil on Saturday – their fifth consecutive league win coupled with their fifth consecutive league cleansheet.
And Welsh was delighted with the all-round team performance shown by the all yellow Lilywhites against Play-Off chasing Oldham.
Speaking exclusively to PNE.Com following the full time whistle, Welsh said: “The way everyone works to a man - there was a cross that come in and their lad looked like he was going to score and who was there blocking the shot? Joe Garner.
“Everyone does their job; everyone knows their roles and what is expected of them.
“The gaffer’s drilled that into us and everyone knows their job and everyone has been doing it to a man and that’s what we expected from each other.”
