Jordan Hugill Joins Hartlepool United On Loan

26 March 2015

PNE striker Jordan Hugill, who was recalled from his loan spell with Tranmere Rovers on Wednesday, has signed for Hartlepool United.

The north-east native has returned home on a loan deal which will see him finish the 2014/15 season with the Pools.

Hugill had been on loan at Tranmere under his former boss at Port Vale Micky Adams where he netted once in six appearances, but that move was terminated on Wednesday, allowing the powerful frontman to join Ronnie Moore’s side; Moore a former two time manager of the Prenton Park outfit.

North End boss Simon Grayson has allowed Hugill to go out on loan in recent weeks to build his match fitness and to gain some valuable game time following his long term knee injury sustained against Walsall back in September.

Everyone at Preston North End would like to wish Jordan well at Hartlepool.
