Young midfielder Josh Brownhill has extended his loan at Barnsley until the end of the season.
The initial one-month youth loan deal has been extended to the end of the 2015/16 season.
There is a recall clause that can be triggered at any time after 11th February, when the initial 28 days in complete.
The 20-year-old has started all four games since joining the Tykes mid-January, with Lee Johnson's side picking up 12 points from 12 in League One.
