Preston North End will find out their opponents for the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, with the draw set to be made on Saturday 18th August, live on Sky Sports' Soccer AM at 10am.
The Lilywhites could potentially face neighbours Morecambe or Football League newcomers Fleetwood Town, with Accrington Stanley also possible opponents.
Last season, North End reached the semi-finals of the competition, only to lose on penalties to eventual champions Chesterfield at Deepdale.
