Preston North End midfielder Neil Kilkenny has signed a new two-year contract at the Club.
The Australian spent the majority of last season at Deepdale and has now put pen to paper on a deal which will keep him at North End until the summer of 2016.
The 28-year-old made 32 appearances and scored twice for Preston during the 2013/14 campaign as the Lilywhites reached the League One Play-Offs.
Speaking of Kilkenny’s new deal, North End boss Simon Grayson said: “I think Neil showed what he is all about when he first came to the Club.
“He changed the way that we play. He’s a passing midfielder; he hasn’t wanted to go anywhere else and we’re just delighted that he has signed a longer term contract.
“He will continue to add to the competition – with the players we have in his position all giving us different qualities.”
