Preston North End winger Lee Holmes has completed a short term loan deal with League Two side Portsmouth until 3rd January.
Holmes, who joined North End from Southampton in the summer of 2012, has made 75 appearances to date for the Lilywhites, scoring six goals in the process.
The 27-year-old injured himself in a weights session on the first day of pre-season training and has since struggled to break into Simon Grayson’s first team plans; featuring only once this term in a 3-2 JPT victory over Port Vale.
