Jordan Hugill can’t wait for Tuesday night’s second round Capital One Cup match with boyhood heroes Middlesbrough.
But Hugill certainly did – although he fell asleep prior to the draw being made!
But the frontman can’t wait for a return to the place he calls home on Tuesday.
Speaking to PNE Player, Hugill said: “I’m a Middlesbrough fan, so to be playing at the Riverside – hopefully anyway, would be a dream for me.
“I was going to watch the draw but I drifted off and then my phone started going mental with texts from all my friends saying that we had got Middlesbrough away and I couldn’t believe it.
“I had a season ticket for about six or seven years when they were in the Premier League and then I started playing football properly on Saturday’s so I had to get rid of it.”
