Winger Chris Humphrey is the man tasked with selecting the best XI he has ever played with for PNE.Com this week.
Going with a 4-3-3 line-up, Humphrey features more than a sprinkling of Jamaican spice in his selection.
So below is Chris’ team and why he has chosen each player…
GOALKEEPER: DARREN RANDOLPH
I played with Daz up in Scotland for two years, it was close between him and John Ruddy but Daz just clinched it for me… and he was my best man at my wedding as well!
RIGHT BACK: ADRIAN MARIAPPA
I played with him at Jamaica, solid. I put him at right back although he is a centre back. He is fast, quick and is doing very well for himself.
CENTRAL DEFENDER: DARREN MOORE
What can you say about ‘Big Dave’, good player, leader on the pitch, always talking, always trying to help you out, never has a bad word to say even if you mess up. He is always encouraging and it was good to play with him.
CENTRAL DEFENDER: WES MORGAN
He is a bit like Darren Moore to be honest, solid, strong, I played with him at Jamaica. There is no way you are getting past him. If he has got you in his sights he is just too strong for you to be able to do anything to get by him. He is just a solid, solid defender.
LEFT BACK: PAUL ROBINSON
He is crazy! Loves a tackle, not many people I see go in to 50/50s with him and come off ok; they are normally going off on stretchers! He is another one who is a leader, another guy who just encourages you on and I was only young when I managed to play with him.
CENTRAL MIDFIELDER: JASON KUMAS
I think he is probably the best player I have ever played with. Technically, he is unbelievable. He could do things on a pitch that you could only dream of doing. I will always remember that we were in training once, three balls he had and he asked me every time where I’d want them and every time he would put it in that exact spot. He is a fantastic player.
CENTRAL MIDFIELDER: JONATHAN GREENING
He was a bit like Koumas, it was good to play with him. His passing ability was frightening and his crossing was unbelievable, he had an engine on him as well and was another one who technically, was unbelievable, so that’s why I have went with Greening.
CENTRAL MIDFIELDER: RODOLPH AUSTIN
I played with him at Jamaica. Like Robinson, he is another one that I have not seen many come off good in a 50/50 with Rodolph. He is a dog; he will rat and hound you down and is a very good player.
FORWARD: ROBERT EARNSHAW
He just scores goals. If the ball is anywhere in the box, with him it is most likely going to be a goal. He was a good player as well.
FORWARD: GRANT HOLT
I played with Holty at Shrewsbury, he is the same, if you put the ball in the box it is a goal more times than not. I used to love playing with him at Shrewsbury because I knew that if I was going to cross the ball he would be there. It is good to have someone in the box like that.
FORWARD: MARLON KING
I played with him at Jamaica. Strong, still quite quick for his age and his touch is unbelievable. He is just a good all round striker.

ADRIAN MARIAPPA

Adrian Mariappa progressed through the Watford Youth Academy before making his first team debut in 2005.
Despite being born in Harrow, London, Mariappa decided to represent Jamaica at international level, after rejecting an offer to play for Fiji – the home nation of his father, in favour of representing the country of his mother’s parents.
He made his international debut for the Reggae Boyz in 2012 against Guyana, before sealing a move to Reading who were in the Premier League at the time, in a deal estimated to be worth around £2.5m.
In his 29 appearances for the Royals, he was unable to prevent them from slipping back into the Championship, but Mariappa’s ability had not gone unnoticed and he was signed by newly promoted Crystal Palace in September 2013.
RODOLPH AUSTIN

Rodolph Austin started his footballing career in the nation of his birth playing for Portmore United where he won two domestic league titles and the CFU Championship.
The 28-year-old headed to the European scene in 2008 with SK Brann, after Stoke City failed in a bid to lure him to the Premier League because of work permit issues.
He made his debut in European competition against Deportivo La Coruna later on that year in a 2-0 win and after his red tape issues where deemed unsolvable to move to the Potters, he signed for Brann in a permanent deal worth £1m.
In 2011 he won the SK Brann and Norwegian Player of the Year awards and he eventually made his way into English football in 2012 signing for Leeds United, making his competitive debut against Shrewsbury Town.
On the international scene, Austin has played for Jamaica at U20, U23 and senior squad levels and was recognised as the MVP in the 2010 Caribbean Cup. He also scored in a 2-1 win over the USA in 2012 – the Reggae Boyz first ever win against America.
