Preston North End have been drawn at home against north east outfit Middlesbrough in the third round of the Capital One Cup.
It will be the third consecutive match the Lilywhites host Championship opposition in the competition, with Tony Mowbray's side travelling to Lancashire the week commencing the 24th September.
Boro, who currently lie in 6th position in the second tier, overcome Bury and Gillingham to reach this stage, and previously won the competition back in 2004.
