It's almost a month since the 2014/15 campaign got underway, and Simon Grayson is happy with how the season has gone so far.
The Lilywhites remain unbeaten in the League, and despite the Cup defeat to Championship side Middlesbrough, the gaffer is hoping to end the month with three points on Saturday against Sheffield United.
"Even though we lost our first game the other night against Middlesbrough, I thought we put a good performance on against a very strong team so we are pleased with where we are going.
"We know there's a lot of work still to be done from now until the end of the season to hopefully get to where we want to get to but the start has been encouraging, and the players are working extremely hard.
"I suppose we're rounding off the month with the game at the weekend for August and it is going to be as tougher game as you can have against Sheffield United, who are clearly one of the favorites for the division but we are looking forward to it."
