PNELotto Hands Over Donation For Future Stars

10 February 2016

The latest proceeds from the PNE Lottery was handed over to the youth development at Preston North End with an amazing £40,000 raised through the weekly and half-time draws.

PNELotto has been supporting the future of Preston North End with profits from the draws being spent on PNE’s youth development. Donations in the past have been spent on facilities, equipment and general up-keep of the Academy. As well as supporting Preston’s stars of the future, PNELotto also aids local charity Heartbeat with regular donations to the worthwhile cause.

PNELotto manager Steve Schultz, who handed over the cheque to Academy manager Nick Harrison and PNE second-year scholar Adam Robinson during the half-time game against Huddersfield said: “A lot goes in to finding the best young players for Preston North End and even more goes into developing the players, so the funds raised will help the Academy continue to do this.

“It’s important for us as a football Club to invest in our youth, and the money raised is an important factor in ensuring the best possible talent come through to Preston North End.”

Academy coach, Nick added: “PNELotto is an invaluable way of providing support to our ten age groups from U8s to U18s and this donation helps us continue to assist in developing players that are ready to play for Preston North End.”
