Retained List Confirmed

10 May 2016

Preston North End have confirmed their retained list for 2016 for those players out of contract in June.

Young players Jack Ryan, Nick Anderton and Josh Heaton, who have all spent large chunks out on loan during 2015/16, have not been offered new contracts.

They will leave the Club, along with Neil Kilkenny and Chris Kirkland, whose contracts also come to an end next month.

Kilkenny, played almost 100 games for the Club in his two and a half years with PNE – including the Play-Off Final at Wembley last year – scoring four goals, whilst Kirkland finished the season by playing the last three games, after a patient wait for his chance in the last year.

Kyel Reid and Andy Little, who are involved in Play-Off campaigns with loan clubs Bradford City and Accrington Stanley respectively, will not be offered new deals either.

A new two-year contract has been offered to Josh Brownhill, currently on loan with Barnsley, who also have a Play-Off campaign, and the Club awaits his response to the offer.

Loan players Anders Lindegaard, Marnick Vermijl, Eoin Doyle, Adam Reach and Callum Robinson all return to their parent clubs after the end of their spells in PR1.

Preston North End would like to place on record its thanks to all the players who will leave the Club for their efforts and commitment during their time at Deepdale and wish them all successful future careers.
