Preston North End will play Scottish side Motherwell in a pre-season friendly on Friday 24th July 2015.
Motherwell secured their Premier League status at the end of last season with a convincing win over Rangers in the Play-Off final to remain in the top flight of Scottish football.
The game will be played at Energy Assets Arena, home of Livingstone FC, with a kick-off time of 7pm.
Ticket details for the tie will be announced in due course.
