Manager Simon Grayson feels his side may need to be patient in their play on Saturday against Colchester United.
“We have showed good resilience and good character in bouncing back after a disappointing game against Chesterfield. Any team coming to Deepdale will not be going gung-ho against us because they know that if they do that, they know we have got some good players that can hurt them
"We know that teams are going to want to stay in the game and they will want to try and frustrate us and they will want to try and hit us on the counter attack and we have to deal with that.”
"We dealt with it against Crawley, we might have to go backwards, sideways and across and be patient in our build-up play, and utilise the system that we are playing so for everybody, hopefully they have seen how well we are doing and how well we are playing.
"Hopefully the passing game will come to everybody, and be confident in the belief of what they are doing and we can get the three points again.”
