Simon Grayson: Destiny Is In Our Own Hands

20 April 2015

Manager Simon Grayson insists everyone at the Club know what they have to do from now until the end of the season to reach their goal.

Despited dropping four points last week, North End's fate remains firmly in their own hands, and the gaffer is well aware of what needs to be done in the next three games, starting Tuesday night at Notts County.

"When you look at it from out perspective, those dropped points have cost us a nice healthier gap but it's not as if we are still relying on other teams.

"We saw at the weekend how things can be unpredictable, everybody expected Swindon to beat Yeovil and that didn't happen. I expected MK Dons to beat Orient, maybe not by the scoreline that they did, but that's what happens.

"Everybody knows what they have got to do now, destiny is in our own hands, we are very positive with what we are going to do and focused and be extra determined if there is any need to be extra determined because we are fully confident that we can carry out what we've started.

"Yes the supporters will be anxious, they will be nervous and pessimistic but there will be a lot of positivity around the place and going to Notts County on Tuesday night, with a good vibe about the place and we will go there and hopefully get three points."
