Simon Grayson: We Go There In Good Spirits

20 November 2014

Manager Simon Grayson tells PNE Player that his squad will travel down to Ashton Gate in good spirits despite recent results.

The Lilywhites have lost their previous three league matches and despite coming up against tough opposition this weekend in league leaders Bristol City, the gaffer knows his side are capable of getting back to winning ways this weekend.

"They've been on a great run haven't they, at the start of the season you would have expected them to be one of the teams that would be pushing come the end of the season.

"They obviously suffered their first defeat last week and they will be looking to get back on winning ways very quickly. We know it's a tough game but it's a great game, a game that are players will certainly be looking forward to trying to get back to winning ways as quickly as possible.

"We are under no illusions that it's a tough game for us, but they will certainly be aware of the threats that we've got and if anybody underestimates us they can become unstuck.

"We go there in good spirits, yes the players are disappointed with the results that we've had the last few games but we can't get away from the fact of the results that we had before that.

"We are positive in what we are doing and feel we are in a good place and they look the squad that are determined to go there and get a good result against top of the table."
