The opportunity to be the Guild Mascot is still available for this weekend's game...
The mascot package also includes the chance to warm up alongside their North End heroes before the game and have their photo taken in the centre circle prior to kick-off, all of which promises to form an exceptionally memorable experience for both young and old Preston supporters.
And the Lilywhites will be hoping to add to the Preston cheer as they look to build on their emphatic 4-1 Capital One Cup victory over Crystal Palace on Tuesday with their first win in League One over Paolo Di Canio’s entertaining Swindon side.
This is a once in a 20 year opportunity to become a Preston Guild mascot and an exclusive chance to be part of the festivities in a very unique way.
2012 marks the first celebration of the Guild in the 21st century and the first since Preston were granted city status in 2002.
The Guild is held every 20 years, dating back to 1179, and is the only Guild which is still celebrated in the UK.
This Saturday, the Preston Guild traditionally begins with the Final Proclamation, followed by the Trades Procession, the first of four major processions which attract on average between 200,000 and 300,000 spectators.
The opportunity to be the Preston Guild mascot for this weekend’s game against Swindon Town is still available, a moment you can exclusively cherish for the next 20 years.
