Spirits Are High For Cunningham And Co.

9 February 2016

Greg Cunningham is enjoying life at Deepdale, and says spirits are high within the camp after a good start to 2016.

Speaking to PNE PlayerHD ahead of this Saturday's trip to Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Cunningham is hoping North End can continue their recent run of form at the weekend.

"There's a positive attitude in the dressing room, but there has been all season. We've got a couple of good results coming together now again and we've got a great opportunity in the coming weeks to get more points on the board.

"We want to keep pushing up the table, we are 14th now, 14 points off the relegation places and just 11 off the Play-Offs so we are sitting nicely there but we are looking to keep pushing on.

After joining PNE in the summer, the 25-year-old has established himself in the first team, and is enjoying his football with the Lilywhites.

"I'm really enjoying my football at the moment, I've had over half a season now and we are coming up to the run in, and I've settled in brilliantly, as best as I could have for my first season.

"I really just want to kick on and it's a credit to everyone at the Club for how quickly I've settled in and managed to find my feet and I'm enjoying my football."
