Thorsten Stuckmann: "We're Ready For It"

5 January 2015

Goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann feels he and his teammates are ready for the tough tests that face them in the two legs of the Northern area final of the JPT.

The first test comes on Wednesday night as Walsall travel to Deepdale for the first leg and the German 'stopper feels the Lilywhites must try and make the most of the home advantage.

"We're that close to Wembley we just have to get the final step done and I think they will be two tough games but I think we're ready for it and just want to go through.

"We have to use the home advantage, I think we just need to keep it in mind that we've got two legs but not over think it, just go in try and win the game and see what we get out of it and play the same way in the second leg.

"I  think the second leg is even tougher, you have to manage a result or come back from a different result so I think the first leg, especially at home we have to use the advantage and just win the game."
