After spending the latter half of last season out on loan, Will Hayhurst was unsure of what to expect on his return to Deepdale but the 20-year-old is thoroughly enjoying the challenge.
Hayhurst has started the last two league games for North End and feels the hard work is paying off and was delighted to be given his chance by the manager.
"I went on loan last year I when I came back I didn't know what to expect and I didn't know what was going to happen, but I tried working hard and seeing what would happen.
"The gaffer has given me a chance off the bench and I've started the last two, which I've been delighted with and I'm feeling in good shape so I'm really happy with it.
