Will Hayhurst has left Preston North End, signing for fellow Sky Bet League One side Notts County for an undisclosed fee.
The young winger came through the youth ranks in the Preston North End Academy, making 48 senior appearances for the Lilywhites, scoring four goals in the process, his first coming against Swindon Town in a
1-1 draw back in February 2013 – manager Simon Grayson’s first game in charge.
He signs for the Magpies on a 18 month deal until the summer of 2016.
Hayhurst, a Republic of Ireland U21 youth international, spent the second half of the 2013/14 season on loan at York City where he made 20 appearances and netted twice.
