Keeper Is Just The Ticket

PNE Goalkeeper, Chris Neal, was just one of the players who was out and about last Thursday handing over tickets for the PNE vewrsus Leicester City match on Saturday.
Following the recent story on PNE.com requesting nominations for worthy causes to receive tickets and a visit from a player, the club was inundated with responses.
One request cam from Susan Turner who wrote.
"Hi, I am replying to the notice regarding free tickets to children's groups. I would really appreciate it if you could pass some to Grange Primary School Preston, where my son Ryan attends.
"Ryan is a season ticket holder on the Town End, but he always comments on how the other kids never get a chance to watch PNE. I know the children would really love this. Thanks."
After receiving this request the panel of judges decided that it would be a great idea to provide some of the children who wouldn't normally get the chance to watch a live match with free tickets. The fact that the request was made on behalf of the rest of the pupils made the donation even more charitable.
Chris arrived at the school and was delighted to hand over the free tickets to the lucky pupils. He said: "This is certainly one of the nice aspects of being a professional footballer. Having the opportunity to put a smile on the face of a child simply by signing an autograph, answering a question or handing over a ticket certainly makes you feel good inside."
The children were thrilled to see Chris and asked some fantastic questions and Chris took the time out to sign an autograph for every pupil in the school. Thanks to all the staff and pupils at Grange Primary School for making everyone feel so welcome.
