Preston North End held the annual Community Cup Final at Ingol in which Brindle Gregson Lane Primary School emerged victorious.
A total of 31 teams took part over the three day tournament, with a total of six teams progressing to the final day of the Cup.
St Maria Goretti's Primary School and Sherwood Primary School came joint third in the tournament with Longsands Primary School claiming the runners-up spot.
However, Brindle Gregson Lane ran rampant on the final day, winning all of their games and ultimately securing their place to represent North End in the regional finals.
The regional final will be held at the training ground of a Championship Club with Gregson Lane playing under the name of Preston North End. There is a great reward for the successful teams in this tournament, with the youngsters now fighting for a place in the national finals at Wembley Stadium.

Manager of the Brindle Gregson Lane Primary School side Scott Smith said that his players have thoroughly enjoyed the experience so far. Smith said.
"They have loved it, they loved it last time and they have done really well. They trained really well and they have been really looking forward to it. The finals will be a wonderful experience for them."
Simon Hampson, Preston North End's Assistant Community Officer was overseeing the three day event and believes that the Community Cup has again been a great success. Hampson told pne.com:
"The Community Cup has been a great success. 31 teams have participated in the competition and the children seemed to really enjoy themselves playing against other schools from the local area, despite the freezing conditions.
"It's a fantastic opportunity for the schools and our club to come together to see the local talent that is around the local area. Also, it's a great chance for one of our local schools to go further in the competition and hopefully play at Wembley Stadium, which not many professional footballers have had a chance to do in there career, so for a young player it is a great incentive to play."
