The latest Playing for Success award evening at PNE was held on Tuesday 30th March 2010, to celebrate the achievements of Playing for Success pupils over 10 weeks in the spring term.

PNE players, Sean St. Ledger, Darren Carter and Ross Wallace, gave out certificates and prizes to the eager crowd. The audience also had the opportunity to take part in a PNE quiz and watch a film highlighting the previous term's work.
The centre's work with the National Football Museum and Streetspeak was showcased; the audience were invited to vote for their favourite poem, produced by PfS pupils, which was submitted into a national competition as part of the 'Pass it On' Olympic Legacy Programme.
As well as meeting and having photos taken with Sean, Darren and Ross, all the pupils received match tickets to Preston's last home game of the season, against Leicester City FC.

Primary schools participating in the spring term were: St Bernard's, Kennington, St. Augustine's, St. Matthew's, Ingol Community, Lea St. Mary's, Grimsargh St. Michael's and St. Maria Goretti. Secondary schools were: Worden Sports College, Christ the King RC Maths and Computing College, Fulwood High School and Ashton Community Science College.
