Preston North End's Jamaican international Keammar Daley made a special appearance at Holme Slack Primary School in Preston.

North End's number nineteen visited the school on behalf of his sponsor and one of the Club's official caterers, Invincibles Catering Ltd.

In a special Q&A session with the primary's pupils, the tricky winger revealed he was 'proud' to be a professional at PNE and is getting to grips with life outside the Caribbean.

After answering all of the fun filled questions in just under 40 minutes, Daley stopped to sign autographs and have his picture taken with the avid North End fans amongst the class.

Holme Slack Primary was also chosen by Invincibles Catering to receive 50 free matchday tickets for North End's clash against Walsall on Saturday 25th February.



Talking about the appearances, Daley said: "The children were fantastic and they certainly fired some interesting questions my way. I'd like to thank the school and the pupils for making me feel welcome.

"It was good to hear that the school were doing a geography project on Jamaica - hopefully they can learn a little more about where I am from.

"I'd like to thank my sponsor, Invincibles Catering, for making this appearance possible and for all the hard work they do offering our players superb hospitality on a matchday."



Invited along to the event were Rock FM's Cash for Kids charity who are the official charity partner of Invincibles Caterers.

The charity, who aims to help disabled and disadvantaged kids in Lancashire, witnessed first hand what good partnership work two big organisations can achieve when working together in the local community.

Keammar will be making a repeat performance of his appearance later this month at another strongly supporting PNE school, Ashton Primary.
