The Championship promises to be an exciting league again next season and North End will again be involved in plenty of thrilling contests.

After one season in the Premiership, Deepdale will again play host to the much anticipated visit of Burnley, a fixture that always promises to pull in the big crowds.

Another side who are entering the fray in the next campaign are Leeds United who have been promoted from League One. North End haven't taken on United since 2007 and Lilywhites' fans will have fond memories of the Whites' last visit to Deepdale, a game in which Preston ran out 4-1 victors.

Darren Ferguson believes that the teams that have been promoted to the second tier of English football could be a threat for the Play-Offs and Norwich City have experienced promotion to the Premiership before, another tricky game at Deepdale next season.

One game that created a fantastic atmosphere inside of Deepdale was the return of former manager Billy Davies and his Nottingham Forest side. This will again be a hotly anticipated clash and will be one of the first games that Preston's fans will look our for again in the 2010/11 campaign.
