The intent is clear for Billy Barr's reserve team on Wednesday afternoon, with ten professionals in the team to take on Chester at the Deva Stadium (kick off 2pm).

There's even more experience on show than the side that saw off Rochdale 4-2 at Deepdale last Wednesday, with Simon Whaley and Brett Ormerod coming into the team in place of Nathan Fairhurst and Neil Mellor. A third change to the line-up sees Dominic Collins returning in place of Mike Aspin - the talented 16-year-old reclaiming his spot after missing the game against Rochdale after he became unwell in the build-up to the game.

With other notable names including Karl Hawley, Sean St Ledger and captain Matt Hill, North End will be expecting a positive result from the trip to the ground straddling the Welsh border.

Any PNE fans wishing to make the trip can pay on the gate, with admission costing £3.

PNE: Chris Neal, Adams, Hill (capt), Collins, St Ledger, Jarrett, Anyinsah, Lewis Neal, Hawley, Ormerod, Whaley. Subs: Mayor, Thompson, Fairhurst, Aspin, McCarthy.

North End supporters are reminded that you can qualify for discounted 'members only' prices from this Saturday onwards when Sheffield Wednesday visit Deepdale. To ensure you make savings of up to £8 on matchday tickets, sign up for your MyPNE membership card via the ticket office or club shop today.
