Andrew Murphy has linked up with Conference North outfit Vauxhall Motors on a month's loan.

PNE's 19-year-old keeper has joined the Cheshire-based club in a bid to get some important first team matches under his belt.

The Lilywhites fourth choice stopper recently spent a short spell at Northwich Victoria but was recalled last week by Paul Simpson after Chris Neal contracted conjunctivitis.

Andrew played in North End's reserve draw with Morecambe last week but following Neal's recovery he has been allowed to move to the Motormen in a bid to further aid his development.
