Danny Pugh is named as captain in an extremely strong PNE reserve side for Tuesday afternoon's clash against Manchester City at Deepdale.

Billy Barr's star studded outfit contains no less than eight first team professionals, as a more experienced side look to bounce back from last week's defeat at Carlisle.

Paul Gallagher, Pat Agyemang, Neil Mellor and Andy Carroll spearhead the attack, with Chris Neal continuing in goal.

Lewis Neal starts in midfield as his suspension is still to take effect whilst Mike Aspin has shrugged off an ankle injury to take his place at right back.

Admittance is free for all season ticket holders with adult tickets priced at £4 and concessions at £2. Kick-off is at 2pm.

PNE: Chris Neal, Aspin, Adams, Collins, Bloxham, Pugh (capt), Agyemang, Gallagher, Carroll, Mellor, Lewis Neal. Subs: Fairhurst, Thompson, Appiah, Higgins, McMahon.

Man City: Hartley, Vidal, Williamson (capt), Mee, McDonald, Laird, Etuhu, Marshall, Evans, Grimes, Ball. Subs: Morris, Clegg, Kay, Poole, Tsiaklis.
