There's going to be plenty of paperwork for Club secretary Janet Parr to sift through over the coming days after manager Alan Irvine explained the situation involving several players who may or may not be on the move.
As well as revealing that Patrick Agyemang is set to join QPR as soon as a deal can be agreed, he admitted that he's going to be returning one loanee to his parent club in the form of Newcastle's Andy Carroll, but wants to try and keep his hands on Blackburn's Paul Gallagher a little while longer.
Both loan deals are set to expire on Wednesday 2nd January, and the boss claimed:
"Andy will go back to Newcastle tomorrow - I've spoken to Sam and that's what's been decided. The Paul Gallagher situation is one that I'm not sure about because I don't know what Blackburn want to do as far as that's concerned. I'm waiting for Mark Hughes to come back to me.
"I think he's done a good job and he's a different kind of striker - I would like to keep him but it's not down to me, it's completely down to Mark Hughes. He knows how I feel and I'm just waiting to hear from him."
He also said that he expects Danny Pugh's proposed permanent move to Stoke to be finalised at some point during the current transfer window, adding:
"The deal with Danny Pugh is one that was done before I came into the Club. I don't think anything's changed as far as that's concerned."
