The hallowed Deepdale turf has been graced by many greats from the footballing world - and now you have the chance to join that exclusive list!

The end-of-season Deepdale legends fixture is back bigger than ever and you have the chance to bid for the once in a lifetime opportunity of gracing our famous pitch before it gets ripped up and re-laid in the summer - the first time this opportunity has been available in four years.

The specially arranged 11-a-side fixture on Sunday 27th April is the ultimate footballing experience, where members of the public have the chance to become a Preston North End footballer for the day.

After changing in the official Preston North End dressing rooms, you will receive a pre-match team-talk from a member of the PNE first team coaching staff.

Players will wear the official Preston North End kit in a full 90 minute game officiated by FA registered officials.

There is no better experience for any football enthusiast!

The auction will begin this coming Monday (31^st March) at 8pm where every three days, each of the 11 positions available on both teams will be up for grabs.

The highest bidder in each round will play for the home team with the second highest bidder featuring for the away side.

The auctions will take place on Ebay with a daily article on PNE.Com linking to the position available on that particular day. 

The bidding schedule is as follows:
Monday 31st March 8pm to Thursday 3rd April 8pm - No.1 Goalkeepers
Wednesday 2nd April to Saturday 5th April - No.2 Right-back
Friday 4th April to Monday 7th April - No.3 Left-back
Sunday 6th April to Wednesday 9th April - No.4 Centre-midfield
Tuesday 8th April to Friday 11th April - No.5 Centre-back
Thursday 10th April to Sunday 13th April - No.6 Centre-back
Saturday 12th April to Tuesday 15th April - No.7 Right-wing
Monday 14th April to Thursday 17th April - No.8 Centre-midfield
Wednesday 16th April to Saturday 19th April - No.9 Centre-forward
Friday 18th April to Monday 21st April - No.10 Centre-forward
Sunday 20th April to Wednesday 23rd April - No.11 Left-wing

Participants will also receive two complimentary tickets to the game plus a complimentary match programme.
