Relax... Take The Footyrider To The Match
The PNE Footyrider bus service offers fans more routes this season making it even easier for fans to get to and from Deepdale on matchdays.
We've now got a full map available to North Enders which highlights all bus routes and the majority taken by the Footyrider buses on matchdays. To view these routes and check out the Footyrider Map Click Here.
Backed by new PNE captain Callum Davidson and the rest of Alan Irvine's squad, the scheme allows fans to get on any Stagecoach bus around the city and buy a return ticket to Deepdale with use of their MyPNE membership card.
The newly appointed North End skipper endorsed the continuation of the service.
"Anything the Club can do to help make it easier to travel to games at Deepdale can only be beneficial," he explained. "From our point of view we want as many people as possible down to support us, and this service will obviously suit those fans that might want to travel together and not worry about where to put the car."
Whatever Stagecoach 'Citi' bus you get on, the service will take you to the ground and back again with the purchase of a Footyrider ticket, for just £2, on production of a MyPNE membership card. The Footyrider service 19 departs from Stand 70 at Preston Bus Station to get to Deepdale Stadium.
Buses run from the station every ten minutes and after the match, buses will be outside the ground to transport supporters back to the Bus Station, with Stagecoach's scheduled services also running past the ground. Supporters can then change onto their relevant bus home from the Bus Station all included in the £2 price!
Fans are also reminded that they can get on the buses that depart adjacent to the Sir Tom Finney Stand after the match and buy a ticket to travel back home. They do not have to have already purchased a return Footyrider ticket to use this post-match service.
The service operating to Longridge will be numbered PNE1, all other journeys between the ground and bus station will operate as Citi 19.

After matches, two buses will collect supporters from outside the ground (Sir Tom Finney Stand), one leaving approximately ten minutes after the final whistle just to the Bus Station, and one leaving around 15 minutes after the final whistle, which will operate via the Bus Station, then continue onto Ribbleton Lane, past Gamull Shops, through Grimsargh and into Longridge, using the same route as the Citi 1 bus.
