Can You Help?

Posted on: Fri 22 Aug 2008

The Invincibles Pavilion opened last weekend to acclaim from all who saw it; but as far as we are concerned we can still make it even better... but we need your help to make that happen!

Each of the executive boxes has been named after a former player and as part of that the boxes have two action shots and a small door plate featuring images of those players in action for PNE. However, our archives are a little short in some areas.

An Invincibles Pavilion Executive Box

We have been generously helped by both the Lancashire Evening Post and the National Football Museum, as well as Fans' Team manager Steve Cowell in sourcing images of many of the players, but we still need a couple more to finish the job.

Do you have images of Alan Spavin, Alex Bruce or Mark Lawrenson in action for PNE? They need to be actual photographs and of the players in action poses for the Lilywhites.

If so and you are willing to bring them to PNE to get scanned in - we don't need to keep them, just need them for a couple of minutes - then please get in touch.

Just give us a call on 0870 442 1964 or email enquiries@pne.com. We also hope to recognise anyone who contributes images within the new stand, so you could be immortalised in PNE history.

More help needed: PNE are also trying to contact the Club's official photographers of the 1980s and early 1990s, Sharon Gifford and Karen Pearson - if you know either of these ladies or can put them in contact with us, please use the number and email address above.
