90+3 mins: PNE try to scurry forward to find a winner but the defence doubles up in number and snuffs out the threat as the game concludes. A fair point that does neither side a dis-service, the only surprise is that we didn't witness a goal but both keepers were inspired. We'll see you again on Tuesday night when it's Nottingham Forest at Deepdale - fingers crossed we'll have some audio for you on the night as well...
90 mins: Parkin tries to beat Westwood from an angle but there's not much power in his shot. Three minutes of added time will be played.
89 mins: Mifsud chests a bobbling ball into Morrison's path, but he scuffs it straight at Lonergan.
88 mins: Substitution for PNE - Davidson for Chaplow.
87 mins: Eastwood tries his luck with a 25-yard free-kick but the wall blocks, and then Wallace charges down well as Fox looks to hammer home the rebound. Chaplow takes a knock as North End break - Davidson is waiting to come on.
86 mins: Substitution for Coventry - Tabb on for Beuzelin.
82 mins: Substitution for Coventry - Leon Best heads off just moments after nearly taking a chunk from Carter's ankle, and Robbie Simpson is thrown into the mix.
Substitution for PNE - Sedgwick departs to warm applause after another great display, with Ross Wallace the man charge with creating the final chances.
77 mins: A drinks break occurs as Ledge requires a moment of treatment.
73 mins: Substitution apiece - McKenna off, Carter on for us, McKenzie off, Mifsud on for them, in a pair of like for like changes.
71 mins: Mellor tries to pick out Chaplow with a cross from the left but Westwood meets the two-goal midfielder to it - just.
70 mins: Jon Parkin stands incredulously, ball in hand, after a surprise offside flag is raised against him with his back to goal, and a defender on his back.
67 mins: I've just been given today's crowd figure, which is 16,544. Of those, an impressive 1,360 have made the trip from Preston.
66 mins: The barrier to my right is now blocking the end that PNE are attacking, so I miss whose torso is responsible for blocking Hart's goalbound drive.
64 mins: Oh dear, Joe Anyinsah has been sent off on his debut for Brighton, a second bookable offence I understand. At least that should only cause him to miss one game, otherwise his loan deal may have been coming to an abrupt end.
63 mins: Now he's performing wonders to further annoy the home fans. Eastwood's mis-kick trickles through to Morrison around the penalty spot, and the subsequent snapshot is brilliantly dealt with.
62 mins: Boos now for Lonners. Either I missed him do something extraordinarily outrageous or they're just very picky about the placing of set pieces round here.
61 mins: Lonergan must have really upset the home fans with that free-kick. He has a chat with the referee prior to launching a goal kick upfield, but I won't repeat what this entices the home fans to sing at PNE's man in green.
59 mins: Loud jeers from the enraged hosts as Lonergan advances a free-kick ten yards further forward after Hart was clipped near the left hand corner flag.
58 mins: Sedge slips it through to Mellor, but he over hits with his first touch and the keeper claims.
57 mins: Ledge dives in bravely, pittung his head against Morrison's boot as both stretch to meet McKenzie's cross. The referee awards a free-kick in the defender's favour, which prompts Morrison to jump around like a man possessed.
53 mins: Doyle's shot fizzes off a trailing leg and the hosts have a corner. Fox whips it in, but Lonergan claims with great authority.
52 mins: Good movement and passing from PNE, ending with a Sedgwick shot from Parkin's square ball. The shot angles wide but it can only be a matter of time before one of these chances goes in.
48 mins: World update - I can only apologise, once again, to everyone hoping to tune in on World. We're trying every combination of buttons, switches, dials, cabling, you name it, in a bid to get the broadcast up and running, but it just doesn't want to seem to work. Coventry's IT man has tried to work miracles with us during the break to fix things but it appears that some kind of fault has beaten us and we'll be onto the tech people first thing on Monday to try and clear things up. To all those who have e-mailed in, please take this as your own personal reply/apology - I haven't got the manpower available to send you all a response in person. Needless to say I'm as frustrated as you are because it's embarrassing not being able to offer the service we've advertised.
47 mins: Mellor whacks a dipping volley towards goal but Westwood leaps like a salmon to nudge it over the top - another great save.
46 mins: Best breaks through but the flag goes up.
1605: Underway again.
45 + 1 mins: Half-time. An even first 45 minutes comes to an end scoreless, with both sides having had chances to score. 1-1 or even 2-2 wouldn't have been an inconceivable scoreline at this point in time.
45 mins: One minute of time to add on. One minute until I can start hitting the ISDN kit with a hammer.
38 mins: Danny Fox lets fly from 40 yards with his left foot and Lonners has to be alert once more to palm the behind for a corner.
37 mins: Jones crosses low from the right hand side, and though Nicholson meets it just a matter of yards from an almost open goal, the ball unfortunately rises slightly higher than he expected and his shot clears the bar by inches.
33 mins: Lonners pulls off a top drawer save to tip McKenzie's shot round the post, but the flag was up anyway so his great efforts were wasted in some respect.
31 mins: I apologise once again to World listeners for today's lack of coverage. Without anyone here to help, the earliest I can try and fix things is at the interval. To think all seemed to work when I tested the kit pre-match...
30 mins: Mellor pounces on a bouncing ball just inside the area but is clipped by Osbourne. The referee says 'no penalty' before Sedgwick's return cross is flicked behind for a corner. From that, Nicholson places the ball onto St. Ledger's forehead, and his effort grazes the bar before going behind.
28 mins: Eastwood races forward with a two on three break, but Best wastes a good chance to hassle PNE as he loses his footing in the box and Mawene can whip it away.
26 mins: Sedgwick beats two men with some fine footwork but his shot lacks a little bit of power and direction as it rolls wide of the near post. He looks the business today.
23 mins: Parkin flicks the ball through to Mellor, and Westwood has to cover his near post well to keep out a well struck left-footed effort.
22 mins: Eastwood strikes with power from 25 yards but Lonners gets down well and blocks.
19 mins: As things stand, we're top of the table because Wolves are behind at Charlton.
18 mins: Consecutive shots from Morrison are charged down by Mawene and St Ledger as both throw their body towards the ball.
17 mins: Quality ball from Parkin, beating the offside trap to feed Mellor, but Osbourne gets back and tackles excellently to prevent us scoring.
14 mins: Sedg cuts across Osbourne's path and curls over the top from the edge of the area.
14 mins: Best's shot-cum-cross is stabbed away by Jones.
13 mins: Chaplow's cross is held by keeper Westwood - a much easier name to type than Konstantopoulos, the fella who wore the gloves for them the last time I came here.
12 mins: For the second time in as many minutes, Chris Sedgwick works wonders to keep the ball in play when it looked nailed on to slide into touch.
11 mins: North End piece together a promising passing move until Doyle sneaks back and breaks up the passing.
10 mins: Corner to Coventry, flicked on by somebody who I couldn't see through the glass barrier, and stabbed over the top by Dann. Think I might give this up as a bad job.
8 mins: An offside flag goes up against Coventry but the barrier combined with a passing group of cheerleaders blocked my view as to who had strayed too far forward. Not bad cheerleaders to have in the way though.
7 mins: There are certainly plenty of noisy PNE fans here today. Well over a thousand of them I'd say, only because I know we pre sold... over a thousand.
6 mins: In all the furore I've only just realised that I can't see the end PNE are defending if I sit back because of a barrier right next to my seat, which has a seating plan affixed to it. Not been the best of starts for us really.
4 mins: An even start to the game, but nothing exciting to report thus far.
1 mins: We can only apologise for those of you who are missing the action on Whites World. Please note that Coventry's coverage seems to be coming out loud and clear so you can hear their version of events, but for whatever reason the cabling they've provided, we can only assume, doesn't seem to want to work with our kit,
1503: We've kicked off.
1500: Thank you to Harry and Keith for your help. Never known such problems with the kit - this ground must be cursed. Matt Hardman is commentating now, so if you can't hear it there's definitely something not right that's beyond our control.
1459: The teams are out anyhow, at least we'll get a game played.
1457: I re-iterate my earlier plea - is anything coming out at all? Crowd noise? The sound of me tearing out my hair?
1452: Can you hear anything coming through on World? Please e-mail us if you can or can't, we're having a mare here with the connection!
1433: For the second year in a row we're having ISDN connection problems at this ground.
1429: We're going live on Whites World any moment, tune in!
1428: Chris Sedgwick's selection means he makes his 450th career appearance today. Thanks to Martin Atherton for that stat.
1426: Team sheets are now in, but we won the battle to get the info out first. Hooray!
1421: A bit of digging has revealed that PNE are unchanged from the side that saw off Charlton a fortnight ago, though Callum Davidson and Stephen Elliott both make it onto the bench.
PNE: Lonergan, Jones, Mawene, St. Ledger, Hart, Nicholson, Chaplow, McKenna (capt), Sedgwick, Mellor, Parkin. Subs: Chris Neal, Davidson, Carter, Wallace, Elliott.
Coventry: Westwood, Fox, Ward, Dann, Beuzelin, Doyle, Best, Eastwood, McKenzie, Osbourne, Morrison. Subs: Marshall, Hall, Mifsud, Tabb, Simpson.
1417: No sign of any team sheets yet, struggling to work out what's going on in terms of line-ups.
1413: Argh, weird music alert! Another ground that thinks football fans like listening to Blue and Degsy's Midnight Runners.
1407: The bright sunshine here, which I is glistening through from my right hand side where the North End fans are based, is making my laptop screen resemble a dirty mirror, offering unwanted glimpses of my own face as I type and making it hard to see what nonsense I'm compiling. Could be some interesting spelling errors if I'm not careful.
1400: Welcome to the Ricoh Arena as PNE go in search of the points that could potentially take them to the top of the Championship this evening (well, that's jinxed it..!). I'm Adrian Ward, or at least I was last time I checked, and I'll be responsible for keeping you in touch with all the action minute-by-minute, as well as broadcasting via Whites World and compiling the match report. No pressure then...
