Don't Forget To Hand In Your Footyrider Tickets
To assist with the Club's continued drive to alleviate congestion around the stadium, before and after games, we are offering all those who travel on the new Footyrider 'Citi' bus services, to and from the ground, a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity to get up close and personal with your Lilywhites heroes.
Stagecoach Northwest and Preston North End are on a mission to try and find the greenest matchday fans at Deepdale, to reward them with the opportunity of a lifetime, and fans can get involved on Saturday by taking the Footyrider to the Doncaster game.
Simply collect up to three separate matchday footyrider tickets and hand them in at PNE Shop, and you can win a sensational, access all areas, behind the scenes day with the first team squad at North End's Springfields training ground. After watching the boys being put through their paces, by Alan Irvine and the coaching staff, the lucky winner and their guest will then join the players for lunch where they will experience the banter and camaraderie of professional football.
There is also a superb runners up prize of a table for ten in the new Invincibles Lounge for a match, including a two course carvery, executive seating and much more.
The Footyrider ticket - designed to give supporters an affordable, reliable and frequent service from practically anywhere in Preston and the surrounding area - has been introduced so that fans no longer have the headache of private matchday travel. So whether you live in Longton, Longridge, or Lea you can now get a return journey to the game for a mere £2, on production of a MyPNE membership card.
General Manager of PNE, Ben Rhodes said: "We are determined to make the Footyrider service a success. We believe that if there's a viable option to private transport, supporters will use it, and at just £2 for a return matchday bus ticket, Footyrider is that option, as it represents unbeatable value."
Rob Jones, Operations Manager at Stagecoach Northwest explained: "We need to educate supporters that Footyrider offers an easy and affordable way to get to the game and there's no better way of doing that then by giving fans an incentive to travel on the Footyrider buses."
To win either of the great prizes up for grabs, all fans have had to do is save three matchday Footyrider tickets by the 9th December. Simply hand in your tickets at PNE Shop, placing them securely in an envelope provided, along with your contact details, and you will go into a draw to be made before the home game against Birmingham City on Saturday 13th December.
So fans can now help the environment whilst possibly helping themselves to the best Christmas present they've ever had! For any fan that hasn't seen the Footyrider routes, here is a list of all routes that are available on matchdays.
