Darren Carter's strike at the Walkers Stadium from last season will go forward to do battle with other 19 other goals in the Football League's Mitre Goal of the Year competition.

Soccer AM has spoken and the 72 strong list has been reduced to 20. You can vote now to ensure Carter's cracker goes further by heading to this link and casting your vote.

The twenty will be shortened to ten and then to five before the winner is decided at the Awards ceremony at Grosvenor House, Park Lane on Sunday 29th March.
