North End's final totesport.com League home fixture against Manchester City has been put back five days to cater for our opponents' FA Youth Cup commitments, clearing the way for the QED Stadium to host our Lancashire FA Youth Cup final clash on the night the reserves were originally set to take to the field.
The second team game against City at the home of Bamber Bridge FC will now be played on Monday 27th April, with a 7pm kick-off, having originally been scheduled to be played the previous Wednesday.
That former reserve team date, Wednesday 22nd April, will now see PNE take on Burnley or Tranmere Rovers in the final of the Lancashire FA Youth Cup. Kick-off for that game is also 7pm, and Preston fans are urged to turn out in force at the QED Stadium to see if the young Lilywhites can lift some silverware to cap an excellent season.
Preston will learn their final opponents on Monday 6th April when the Burnley v Tranmere semi final takes place. Ticket prices for the final will be announced via PNE.com once they are known.
