Fixture Fiddling

Posted on: Wed 15 Apr 2009

Preston North End have announced a change of venue for two of their non-first team fixtures to be played at the end of April.

Firstly, the Lancashire FA Youth Cup final against Burnley, which was set to be played at Bamber Bridge's QED Stadium on Wednesday 22nd April, will now instead take place at Deepdale. Kick-off for the big occasion is 7pm and a large crowd is expected in the hope of cheering North End on to a piece of silverware.

The other alteration relates to our totesport.com League game against Manchester City on Monday 27th April. This game had originally been listed as being played at Deepdale, but has now been moved to Chorley's Victory Park. Kick-off for this fixture is also 7pm, with usual admission details applying (free for season tickets, Mini Whites and YNEs, £4 for all other adults and £2 for all other concessions).
