More Programme Plaudits: Best Value

Posted on: Mon 18 May 2009

PNE's official matchday programme for 2008/09 has won yet another plaudit, this time landing the 'Best Value' award for the Championship by The Northern Programme Club.

The publication had already taken the 'best programme' award at the Northwest Football Awards, and the environmentally friendly aspect of the recycled paper production helped the Club to collect the 'Best Fan Marketing Campaign' trophy at the Football League Awards, but this is the first time that the content versus cover price ratio has been heralded.

At only £2 for 64 pages, there can be little doubting that PNE's matchday publication offers great value, with a high level of content including extended player features, interviews with key visiting personalities, comprehensive statistical analysis and photographic reviews of all the latest action.

This season, we've spoken to big names as diverse as Richard Caborn MP and Rodney Marsh, David Nugent and Sean Gregan, and there will be more big hitters speaking to us in 2009/10.

We'll be spending the summer formulating a design that will further build upon our award-winning efforts this season, and as the readers of the programme, we want you to tell us the kind of feature you'd like it to include.

If you've got a fresh, new idea that would work wonders in our new season publication - or have spotted something elsewhere that we could secretly plagarise (!) - let us know via
media@pne.com and we'll take the best ideas and turn them into something bright and new for 2009/10.
