Preston North End's pre-season training camp in Austria is underway after the players arrived at their base on Saturday.

North End boss Alan Irvine has taken 23 players with him to the foot of the Dachstein mountain range for what is sure to be an intense week of pre-season training.

The Lilywhites are straight into the action on Sunday with the players given little time to rest with an early morning alarm call for a run along the banks of the local river.

North End will play one practice match on the tour, against FC Erdal Hallein, the same team they defeated 11-0 on last season's tour. The game will be played on Saturday 11th July at FC Erdal Hallein's ground, a kick-off time has yet to be confirmed.

PNE.COM will be bringing you comprehensive coverage from the Austria tour throughout the week.
