Supporters heading to PNE's friendly at Bamber Bridge on Tuesday 14th July have been alterted to the possibility of parking at Brownedge St Mary's Church rather than attempting to park on the side streets adjacent to the ground, which are expected to be very busy in light of a near capacity crowd at the QED Stadium.

With limited space in the stadium car park available to staff and players only and numerous roads nearby - including Irongate itself - subject to traffic restrictions, the Catholic church on Brownedge Road has agreed to allow visitors to use their car park, subject to a £2 fee which will go towards an ongoing fundraising campaign within the Parish.

Limited street parking will be available in other surrounding roads, but supporters are advised to arrive early if they wish to take up that option. Both clubs would ask travelling fans to investigate train and bus options to get to the game, with Bamber Bridge railway station around one mile on foot from the ground, and bus services stopping just a short walk from Irongate. The 113, 125 and 150 bus services all have journeys scheduled to return from Bamber Bridge into Preston after the game.

Anyone seeking information on disabled parking is advised to contact Bamber Bridge direct on 01772 909 690.

Admission to the game, which kicks off at 7.30pm, is available via cash payment only on the night of the game, priced at £7 for adults and £4 for senior citizens, students and juniors.
